Took these while hiking in Escalante, UT - Neon Canyon, on our
way to Golden Cathedral. Absolutely beautiful, but grueling hike
through rough terrain, water and bush. Worth it!

Muddy Reflections looks like alien world landscape, love it! The other two didn't show up on my screen. I'm having issues at this time.

Ok, they are pretty cool, but why are the peoples shadows so blurry? I can see that the lens is in focus by they shadow that is in the valley and the rocks around it.

Good question......not a lot of thought going into that shot.. Just saw it and shot it. Had a whole bunch of shadow pictures

Just found it interesting with the two different types of shadows and couldn't understand how you got the people shadows to look like they do.

We were standing way above the shadow, on a final climb out of
a canyon. End of day, with sun behind us. The shadow below is
of the hill we are on, with our raised arms out of focus.

What lens do you take hiking with you? I took my 18-55 and 70-300 Canon, it was just a pain to switch back and forth.

Love #1...All are really good, spec #2, but #1 is just so surreal..I like it...Linda Morton..
