Pics from S/West of Western Australia.
As mentioned earlier, some beautiful reflections from my sons visit to our very picturesque south west region.
It's very popular attractions is the wine growing industry, & the peaceful cabin resorts nestled in amongst the giant Karri trees. They were milled for lumber years ago but almost outlawed now. There are many other species too.
To be hunkered down in these cabins with a nice log Fire, a nice bottle of local red, or white, & a beautiful woman cuddled up next to you, is not far from heaven on earth.
There are a few lakes in the region, some manmade dams.
Lucky son had all these recently & allowed me to post a few of his pics. I think download looks better.
They were taken with his Samsung phone.
Was the beautiful woman curled up beside you furnished by the resort or your wife LOL
Any fish or crocs in the lake?

Dunno about crocs; but, 2 or 3 Red Bellied Piranha police the area for unauthorized swimmers.
Used to be crocs but the sharks ate them all!
Any potential visitors, relax. There's no bities in our southern lakes & dams. Crocs are only in the warm semi tropical waters of the far north.
One of our advantages is we have no predators down here. The odd spider or snake but they only eat when they're hungry, & not much anyway.
Water sports on the larger lakes, & canoeing on the smaller ones. But yes, fish are there but regulated consumption.
Ah the peacefulness of them....
