Random Alaskan trip photos

A few days ago I posted a series of photos pertaining to our recent adventure to Alaska. The thread got nearly 4000 views and many very nice comments. Since a photographer worth his salt can't really do justice to a trip like that in 10 measley photos I posted another thread just focusing on the cruise ship part of the adventure. Now realizing that 20 photos really wasn't enough either I am adding this "Random Alaskan trip photos". Here are the other 2 posts that go along with this one:

It was extremely difficult to narrow the entire trip down to just a mere 30 photos but this is my feeble attempt at doing it.

I went back and looked at all of them. You did a great job! I can amagine how hard it was to narrow all your photos down to 30. About how many photos did you have? I had at least a couple thousand when I got home from Alaska. We are going to Canada next week to photograph the wildlife. Terri

Thanks Terri for the kind remarks pertaining to my 30 Alaskan photos. I think I had about 1500 photos. Much less than I anticipated. I got all the photos on one 64 gig card.
I'd love to see your photos of Canada when you return. Have a great trip!

Awwwwwwww thanks Mike! What a wonderful comment about the photos. I appreciate it! I try NOT to sell my photos, that would take all the fun out of it!

Brendt, I lived up there for awhile in the late 60s and many times I wish I had stayed there. Worked for the Air Force and had the run of a couple of bases and learned a bunch from the friends I made. I grew up fast as an 18 year old with no family in Alaska. Love this set of photos since it shows off a lot of what I remember.

Great photos all of them. I'm glad you had a great time. I must warn you that Alaska can grow on you. I was there in the '50's and '60's, left in '63. It was a lot different then then now. I still get homesick after all of these years. Try to go again if you can.

Thanks Greg for the comments. I too was in the Air Force and was stationed in Germany as a fireman. Good memories in a place far away from home.
