I wouldn't call her work "fine art". Decorative arts perhaps.

Really a BFA is the only way? Wow some people just can't put enough on throwing thousands of dollars away on an education that is not needed.

Depending on you experience in photography maybe some classes at a local community college but a full degree will not make you better. 2 years in school or two years in the field honing your hobby into craft. I would take the field work any day.

Never said it was the only way. However, if your interest is truly fine art photography nothing beats
academia. I tried both approaches and can say I learned more about photography (not cameras) in
school than I could have by going on my own.
