My father had a dark room in the cellar and I still have his old Kodak Monitor from 1948 which looks very similar to this one in the posting. And I still have all of his old 620 negatives from the late 1940s and 1950s. I have no one to leave them to and so they will most likely end up in the trash when I kick off.

A local museum or history society may find useful images among those your father took. You may wish to contact them for their potential interest.

I have a couple of those old folders, inherited from parents and father-in-law, not that heavy, bulky when opened but light, slow shooting though.

This looks like my dad's old camera that I have stashed in my hope chest! Many moons ago I took pics of it..I think I posted them on here, but no sure.
