That would be great, especially if they are going to continue to make cameras that use the XQD.

The new Z6 and Z7's are using them, but the industry doesn't seem terribly receptive. CFexpress??

That would require too much reengineering, and CFast is even more nichy than XQD. The Nikon branded 12ol Gb XQD at 29,160 yen converts to $262, which is $30+ more than currently available Sony 128Gb product.

Yes, the prices were in the link, but the link also stated that CFE development was next:

"...CFExpress is essentially the next revision of XQD, and there should be full backward compatibility with XQD, and that getting D4/D5/500/D850’s to work with CFE cards should be a simple software patch. "
