First serious shot with my new D7200. Taken in Madera Canyon Arizona. Bird is wild and unrestrained. Comments on this please. Seems a little noisy to me?

There’s not really a sharp focus point. It’s somewhat soft. I don’t pick up much noise until it’s enlarged quite a bit.

Not really noisy but your focus is soft. Keep at it, you will love that camera. It takes time to learn how to best use any camera.

Like any wildlife it's hard to shoot around all the other stuff I.e. background and surrounding fits in nice but that Turkey is using his feather color to blend in, camo.

Nice grab shot. Not a lot of contrast so it's gonna look soft. You'd have to crop it in and do some contrast work to bring out the bird, Rule of Thirds might help a bit too.

Nice shot, getting nice contrast shooting wildlife is difficult, your bird was in the shade, some lens won't AF well without good light. I always use auto ISO for wildlife.
