Saw this bird today for the first time and do not know what it is, does anyone know? Please and thank you. :-)
Beautiful bird! Wish I could help, and I wish I could see one! :-(
I enjoyed that unidentified yellow bird.

Thanks for responding smsouthers, appreciated. :-)
Since you live in FL also, keep your eyes open, this is the first time I've seen him myself, so maybe you will too!
There were several in the trees and one ventured down to sit on top of the fence for a minute or two. None came to the bird feeders.

What size was this bird? I will definitely keep my eyes open!
Looks like a Spot-breasted Oriole, a female, maybe a juvie. Its found in south Florida. Thats my best guess...

Bigger than a Cardinal, maybe about equal to a Mockingbird.
I've looked in my bird books and find nothing like it. Closest is a male American Goldfinch, but it has black on its' head.

I have been looking in my field guide. It looks like maybe an orchard oriole?? Not sure though. I am thinking with the color and the size, and they have the same kind of bill.
Could be a Yellow Warbler

Warblers are quite small. This bird is much larger.
