I'm fairly new to UHH and would like to share some of my attempts at shooting the Milky Way.
This one was taken a couple of years ago in August in Titusville, FL at around 10pm. Quite a bit of light pollution from Orlando to the right. I like how the clouds added to this shot.

These were taken in the FL Keys in March of 2017. The galactic center didn't rise until 3am, but I took these at around 11pm.

These were taken this past March 2018 in the FL Keys. This time I got up at 3am and shot until the sun came up.

The streak you see in this shot is a satellite.

I really enjoy trying to get shots like this. It amazes me what the camera sensor picks up that your eye can't see.

Thanks! The first shot was with the Nikon 18-55 kit lens. The other shots were taken with the Sigma 17-50 f2.8.

Beautiful set, David. Actually, each photo standing on its own is beautiful. Very nicely done.
