I have just signed up for lightroom CC. There are numerous tutorials available which one do you recommend? I would like to pick one and not switch around between several different courses. Which one should I use? Thanks

Most of the issues with LR come from the Library/Catalog, and people trying to use it like a file browser, which is a mistake. The other issue is that an image must be in the catalog for LR to see it AND it must not be moved without letting LR know it's been moved, so it can update the catalog's source and destination locations for that file - you can move things around in Windows Explorer and Finder, but you will have to keep track of what you did and sync the changes in LR when you open it. I will often load 1000+ images onto my computer, cull the images using a fast image browser, then open LR to add (not copy) the folder to the catalog.
As you can imagine, there are many tutorials and guides for LR Classic CC and LR CC. There is nothing wrong with using multiple tutorials - in fact I recommend it. Each will have the author's method which is usually arranged to his/her workflow, and may not necessarily work for you. Having the benefit of several takes on the process you can better decide what how you want to use the software. Many are 100% free with no strings attached.
You can try googling.

I like the Anthony Morganti tutorials on youtube.

I was struggling with Lightroom until I broke down and bought the Laura Shoe videos.
Made all the difference for me. After years now, I still refer to them.

Dido on the Laura Shoe videos. I have her courses and like them very much. There is also a good book by Dave Kelly "Lightroom Classic CC Made Easy"
I recently started Ben Willmore's course (through Creativelive.com) and like it. It also comes with a downloadable workbook. I got it on sale (70% off). I think it probably goes on sale periodically. I also like Lightroom Queen (Victoria Bampton).
What fast image browser do you use? I have a Mac and download all my photos into a file on my desktop but would like to browse quickly before using Lightroom and Photoshop. Tia.
I looked up Laura Shoes’ LR CC videos. I found one called LR 5 or 6. Dumb question: does it matter 5 or 6 or will the video work for any edition of LR CC?
Thanks.

If they're all for LR, by all means then you should watch 'em all if you're serious about learning. It takes a bit more than just one little tutorial!

I agree completely. She has a very good teaching style and covers everything from A to Z. Her DVDs also identify the topics that are crucial to learn first as opposed to those that can wait until you gain some experience. Go to her website to view a couple of her freebies. That will help you decide if you like her style without making any financial commitment.
Thanks, everyone. Will give them a try.
