In flickr, can you create a sub folder? Folder title is Football with sub folders of the various teams played ie... Center vs Rio Linda, Center vs Liberty Ranch and so on.

In Flickr you can create a "collection" that contains "albums." Each album has its own content. I think this is what you are trying to do.

Smugmug, which now owns Flickr, allows you to create sub-folders (same thing).

After about a decade on flickr I haven't seen anything called a folder, but perhaps you're referring to Albums. Alas, I don't believe you can create sub-albums. What I've done is, for example, to create an Album called "Botanicals," including all of my images of plants, and separate albums for Tulips and Grasses and Amaryllis, plants I've photographed often.

There is in Flickr something called "Organizr." It's not easy to find, but if you open an Album, you'll see "Edit in Organizr" at the top. Once you open that, you'll see a whole new menu of items. Among the top is "Albums & Collections." Click on that and you'll have the option to Create a new: collection or album.

I currently have four collections. Two of them have four albums and two of them have three albums. For example, I have a collection called "Canyon Tour" and the albums within it are "Zion," "Bryce" and "Grand Canyon."

As Just Fred pointed out, you can put your "albums" in "collections." Another thing I like about Flickr is that you can put a picture into as many albums you like. You could have an album "Center vs Rio Linda" but also put the best pictures from that album (and from others) into an albom called "Football."

I just make an album for any particular photo shoot that I do. You can do the same for each football game you shoot.

I have a Flickr account but have not used it. I now have some photos from a recent trip in Italy I want to share with fellow travelers. I can create an album and then how do I let them access it or even add to it?

This is very simple. First, you upload your pictures and create the album. You have two ways to share: if your friends or family members have a Flickr account, they just can "follow" you. If not, you can send them the link to your account or specifically the link to your album. To do so, open your album and then clip the URL and paste it into an e-mail you send to friends and family.

Thanks. Sounds simple enough. I will try it.
