There you go, another week gone by. Thanks Pat, the clouds and sky challenge was well received and attended. Dane the animals drew me in for sure. So here we are once again, it'™s Free Sunday. Post up any leftovers from any of the years challenges or any adventurous post processing challenges you would like to share. No restrictions, but we are family friendly here so be your own restrictor.

I am new to serious photography. I have been the picture taker in the family and am starting a DSLR photo course at a local college. I would like feedback on a pic I took.

I have been practicing my high-speed photography 'skills' so I decided to post something different for this Sunday Challenge: a drop of water creates the familiar 'crown' shape as it crashes on the water surface. The crown then collapses creating a void and causing the surrounding water to rush in at very high speed to fill that void; with no place to go, the water then rushes up creating as it grows the beautiful back-jet crystal-like sculpture.

The subject of water drop photography has been almost exhausted but I thought it will be fun to exploited at home.

I did a sailor shoot with Jonah today. The second shot was at sunrise with the beautiful light from our smokey skies.

Very cute GR.

Love all the pictures and ideas I have been seeing. I got an Olympus E420 for my birthday, I know its a basic beginner camera and would love some suggestions on lenses. I currently use a 14-42mm lens with a polarized cover. None of these pics have been edited in any way, just what I captured in the moment. :D

2 is my favorite Denee.

During the end of July and the beginning of August my wife and I took a 2 week road trip to the west coast. Here are some from Yosemite. A Monday evening in the Mariposa grove and Tuesday in the park which closed that night.

2,3 and 4 are lovely.

Here are some from a recent photo workshop at one of our county parks. The model is Hannah and she is wonderful to work with. I found it to be next to impossible to take a bad photo of her.

Well done, she looks relaxed.
