Oh what T would give to be sitting by this peaceful canal in the gorgeous English countryside. Thanks for the great pix. Make me feel real homesick.

Great countryside scenes.
Makes me 'homesick' for my 1970s years in the UK.

If these were mine I am sure I would be tempted to clone out the electricity 'poles' in the last one.

I will have to learn how to do this cloning, a few people have mentioned it in the past, I use Aperture for my photos not sure if it has cloning software in it. regards Allan

In the first three photos you did not use the rule of thirds. These photos may have been better if the rule was not broken. As Brian Peterson stated, determine where the most interest is and use that area for top or bottom 2/3 of the image. This keeps the eye from wandering from top to bottom. IMHO.
