One of the tricks I learned from working in a museum for years was to use a small pinch of Play-Doh on the back of the picture frame. It keeps the frame from moving due to small vibrations, does not leave a residue on your painted wall and will not pull the paper off drywall when removed.

Try using museum putty at the back bottom of each frame after leveling them.

The photo frames in my house needed straightening from time to time. A good solution that has worked for me is to use a product that is similar to "silly putty". A tiny piece of it between the back of the photo frame and the wall will stick the frame to the wall without discoloring the wall. A good product. find it here- https://www.amazon.com/Elmers-Tac-Stik-Reusable-Adhesive/dp/B001CEMCXQ

Hey, this is a technical forum! We need to know what brand and model house you have. Same for the picture frames. The photos may not be perfectly balanced in the frames. There may be hardware incompatibility.

More information needed.

That will work but involves a bit more time and patience just to hang a frame. Screwing the frame to the wall will work also, but isn't a very good idea.

Hi Everyone ,
I have lots of photos in Picture Frames in my home .
About every 2 weeks I have to straighten them out as they go crooked
just a little bit ..

Anyone know why this is ?
Are there small seismic activity going on ?

I call upon any people with Scientific knowledge to answer .

Get some Blu Tak and anchor them in place.

Ghosts, but mine is just the signed photo Hugh O'Brian gave me after we did some work together. All others are just fine.

Use very small velcro dots on one corner.

Double sided tape can pull the paper off of drywall.

Depends on the tape backings. Some do and others don't.

That's what makes Blu Tak so useful - easily removed.
