Some more honey bees

A bunch from Sunday. They did not start coming around until just a few days ago. Before this, it was mostly bumble bees.

Hi Tom! These bee good shots! You are doing a great job. We still don't have to many Honey Bees around. The ones we have are really fast moving. But I keep tying. :)

Yeah, it was kind of weird that they were not around much in the spring. When a flower is at its' sweetest, that is when you will get good picks as they crawl along.

Tom, nice photos. I eat honey every day, it's good to know there are still some bees around. They are on the decline.

very nice..sharp on the eyes...I know how hard these guys are to do...

Try putting your camera on sport mode and see if you can freeze them in mid-air..you might have to take over 300 shots to get 3..like I did..but it is fun to do..

Thanks. I shoot with a Sony a580 and I used a 200mm kit lens.
