Wow! I have explained to you how others view some of your posts, you don't have to attack them personally to leave them feeling demeaned.

I see a lot of fluff in this response and no meat, but I will ask one question that begs to be asked regarding the above post.

Please tell us how Trump has abused our Allies?

G7 meeting behavior, NATO meeting behavior, snubbing Merkel for starters. Pushing borderline countries that I don't trust but would rather not have them turn to Russia and China (Pakistan, Turkey etc.) Here's a perfect example. Why do you think trump delayed his trip to England for so long and wasn't given a state dinner... why were there so many protesters in the streets and at his golf course in Scotland? Do you really think his "tough love" is making things better?

Eye - you really need not feel like you have to explain how people come across towards others here unless you share some of your personal self-reflection of your own posts. I've seen you gratuitously flame people until my screen smoked; please don't pontificate to me.

I have become considerably more polarized in my political opinion since joining UHH. The Attic is a virtual monkey s**t fight with some so full of it they never run out of dung to throw. Trump's core supports him unquestioningly and that in itself is a bit scary. Thankfully the majority of Americans disapprove of his leadership. I DO NOT think the democrats have an agreeable solution. Pelosi needs to say she will not seek the Speaker's seat if the democrats gain control. If the democrats do regain control of the House, the most they can do is more effectively speak up against trump's abuse of our laws and politicization of agencies that are agnostic in the protection of the best interests of the country. The republicans are cowtowing to trump, afraid to speak up for what is right because they are afraid of his core supporters.

We are surely going to disagree about trump's actions... the division is as clear to me as the Mason Dixon line was in prelude to the War Between the States. I'm tired of seeing posts begin with lib-turds and repukes, I'm tired of seeing potentially interesting conversations become soiled by the juvenille postings of "internet warriors" who post in the secrecy of their darkened basements assured they have no worries of accountability thanks to the web's anonymity. I am really tired of a so-called leader whose approach to making this country great again is to first start by dividing us to the ultimate degree of polarization, who demonizes the pillars of liberty, who says wh**ever he wants us to believe at that moment. Even his wife came out against cyber-bullying as trump was off on several more of his acidic rants at people he once liked but now despises. It's sickening.

That's my rant - this thread has been annoying because so many drape themselves in the cloak of rightousness while attempting to kick the opposition in the balls.

Elaine, it’s like you’re suunning yourself on trump beach... the weather is beautiful and you are enjoying all that you see. What you don’t see is there is a tsunami rushing at you. Imagine I am in an airplane watching the devastation about to hit your little world. I can warn you of what I see but you don’t believe me and continue to feel warm and cozy at trump beach... however, the tsunami is relentless and coming at you with force.

Or the reverse, your little world is about to turn upside down with e******n losses and that tsunami is going to be that big blue wave toppling the lib f*****t socialists while they scratch their heads and wonder what just hit them. Kind of like when Trump was elected and Rachel Madcow declared Hillary the winner all evening long and then she went into melt down and declared the nation needs a doomsday plan. The lib f*****t socialist dems projected Hillary to win, they hoped she would win, they believed she would win, BUT SHE DIDN'T.

My point is that lib f*****t socialist dems have no clue what is going on in this country. Their thoughts and ideals are driven by hatred. Anything they see or read that fuels the hatred is embraced. Facts take a back seat to the individual hatred. Lib socialist f*****t dems have a lot of h**e, not much on facts or t***h, but an abundance of h**e.

Neither of us will be surprised to find that is exactly how the majority of Americans feel about trump's core supporters. It's their unrelenting anger at our government for the last couple of decades that causes them to so blindly support trump, to blindly give him a pass on everything he does (even when in their heart they must be questioning why he said or did something the way he chose). trump's disapproval rating is double digits higher than his approval rating. The beach where you are is sunny and warm but that wave I warned you about.... it's not coming at us.... it's coming from us. You fool yourself into believing trump's lies are "facts", that the media is the "enemy of the people" (look at the past world leaders who've used that term). I'm not here to convince you otherwise; in fact, I wish I lived in your dream world but I don't. I see the facts as they are and wonder who trump believers will blame when it becomes clear he fooled them and fooled them badly.

Your reasoning is flawed. Trump supporters are not angry over government....wh**ever that means. When the media lies, which they do daily, they are the enemy of the people. You don't get it because the media is supporting Trump h**e, and that is what you support. I know Trump puts his foot in his mouth, and I don't care. I care what he is doing for this country, jobs, economy, etc. You lib f*****t socialist dems are unable to even have a conversation because you demand that YOUR hatred be justified by everyone. You are unable to see anything positive that Trump has done. That speaks to your hatred aimed at Trump.

You want to talk about giving someone a blind pass......talk about obummer.

God, the old “obummer” ploy. Deal with today and the problems now facing the country. There are no heroes in DC and haven’t been since the Reagan/Bush administration.

It’s getting worse Elaine. Trump is steering the the country into unknown, dangerous waters - full steam ahead. I don’t think where the ship of state has been is nearly as important as where it’s going.

Forget about Obama, Bush, and Clinton; they’re gone. Trump the “stable genius” is at the helm; let’s stay focused on what is happening today. I don’t think he really knows where he’s going.

Depending on what Cohen has to share he might not know where he is going for sure right now :)

Don't forget the past or you will be destined to repeat it. I will take my chances with Trump.

Elaine, we’re all taking our chances with trump, he is our president (even for those like me who cannot trust him).

If you view him as your President, why don't you look for positive actions he has taken that are good for the country?

You are certainly entitled to your opinion as I am to mine. I agree with you that there is no point in replying to your post because as much as I may disagree with much of it our conversation will only deteriorate from here.

Cheers.

Well, we found agreement when we each ceased searching.

Really? There are dozens upon dozens of achievements that are good for the country. I think there should be more concern and uproar over dirty lying people in the FBI, DOJ, lying media, dirty politicians, etc. After two years, still no proof of Trump Russia collusion, yet the media acts as if it is fact. The media tells people what to believe and when to believe it. The media outright lies or omits information so you think the way they want you to think. It goes the same in colleges. That should be of more concern that Trump's latest tweet.
