They're well focused and the shallow depth of field is nice. There are too many distracting elements in the background,. The white sheets on the side of the house and on the roof of the adjacent house are distracting. The metal pole is obtrusive. In some of the photos, the metal pole is more the main subject than the bird. Maybe a different camera angle so that there are trees and greenery behind the bird.

Thanks for the suggestions, but can't help it to make less distracting, because the bird was on the boundary wall, beyond which, i have no control to make the background less distracting. The metal pole is light post, Govt. property India. Moreover, I was neither ready, nor prepared with appropriate lens, for the shot.

when ugly background is going to spoil your image you have one of two options. that the shot and live with it or you move and change the the background. or number 3 open your lens to f2.8 or what ever and try to blur the background.

Ditto CO, well said.
A fourth option might be pp, isolate the bird and replace the background
