Amtrack and Con Rail from the late 70's. Old to me any way.Thse are scanned slides so no data , taken with a Minolta slr. First pic ai a pair of former Pennsy GG-1's the next two are E-60's.

The CG-1 show that electrics don't have to be boxes on wheels. They did provide service for a long time.

I even have a belt buckle of the CG-1 on it.

The GG-1 was a beast. I remember them well as a child growing up in New Haven, CT. Thanks for the images.

I didn’t know they went that far north.
In the early 80s I used to take Amtrak from New London to Philly.
The Connecticut portion of the trip was powered by diesel.
