Can anyone identify this one? It’s a large one ... it’s torso was about 3/4 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. Upper Midwest.

Nice spider! They are fun to watch, I would kill a fly with the tennis racket electric zapper, place it on the edge of the web. The spider would be on it instantly and wrap it up in about 3 seconds.

Argiopie, I think is the name, I have latterly hundreds of them in the bushes in front of my house ( my old place)!
