Yesterday we played at Deer Creek Winery in Selma, OR - Nice place!
http://www.deercreekvineyards.com/I discovered it would probably be good to get a wider angle lens for vineyard shots.
Here are a few pics from there.
#1 was a kind of study in HDR "realism", composed from 3 different shots of a rather inviting looking spot in the vineyard.
compositionally okay?
Does this one do anything for ya?
One of our hosts, Dave the Chile Farmer
The second one has a pleasant viewpoint.
love those wine vines, we have been goingto the Finger LAkes of N.Y. for past 20 years and bring back several cass of thier wines. Always fun to try a new vintage.
love the second shot.....
wrr
I really like the shots but while reading your initial text I thought that I was losing my mind. Your avatar moved! I caught the motion out of the corner of my eye and thought yes it moved or no it didn't...... I am getting old and eyes do play tricks so I just sat there and watched it move again. What a relief.
Cool avatar! And I do like your pictures......Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, and yes, my cat avatar's mission is to steal an extra 10 seconds from every viewer - mission accomplished!

It worked
All 3 are sharp with good contrast and color but none really do anything for me. They seem to just be snapshots of your day and for all I know that's all they're ment to be. Just my opinion.............

Yes, you are quite correct, they are snapshots of my day - we were really there to play music (which I am hopefully a bit better at than photography, I guess). Thank you for your comments.
