Great shots. My eyes seem to be seeing double. Are the first and last shots, the same image with slightly different processing?

Good question. I was taking 5-6 burst shots, but you can see on the left wing that they are different images.

I used a Canon EF 100-400mm II with a Canon EF 1.4x III extender at the max. zoom, so it's a 560mm focal length. I see that you reside in New Zealand. I will do a 21 day self drive tour in December starting in Auckland and ending in Christchurch. All reservations made already.
