If you're a railfan you've got to have a passing knowledge of Lionel Trains. Met the lion a few times myself. Good one!

Yep. It was sort of the usual thing of what one would expect at a national train show. Some really nice, huge layouts of all gauges, big time vendors, along with the obscure. I noticed that a lot of the personnel at these booths just seemed to be going through the motions; not a whole lot of interaction with the public. The Lionel folks were a good example. At the Marklin booth, the man and woman there had their backs to the public most of the time and just talked to each other. I wanted to ask some questions, but the guy would not stop talking to his female counterpart, so, I simply walked away.
