I think it is a success.

In PP, I'd remove the items that wrench the atmosphere of an impressionists painting, and make it obvious that it is a PhotoShop applied filter(s), actions etc. Nothing wrong with filters and or actions at all! This is a great one!.... AS others have mentioned, the vent could be removed and the chair, replacing that area with the dark texture... She is great, the technique likewise is great - just these two things are not organic and out don't take the filter(s) well.

You may have better luck if you removed them from the original and then applied your technique- probably successive applications of filters and various Actions and manipulation, though it may turn out different.

I'd proudly hang it!

Is this faceless ladyboy in a hotel wearing pantyhose? Not sure I can go with this interpretation. There had to be better imagery to work with? And don't bother with the template based filters like SmartPhoto...once you've seen one.....

I like it as an image, has some mystery, as mentioned the hand and vent are slightly distracting.
