Good Morning, newtoyou. I live in nearby Gambrills, MD, so the Festival is literally between us! I have gone there several times over the years. It is indeed very interesting, especially the number of people dressed in medieval attire!! I'm ready to join you for a group selfie.

Went every year 2001 - 2012, missed 2013, got back 2014 &2015. Broken leg 2016 & back surgery 2017 eliminated those years. Given what my neuropathy is doing now don't know if I'll ever get back.

I'd make it a point to pull into the lot abut 8:30 and then could park close to the gate. After I bought the D800 made some movies of the performances. Even with the VERY unknowledgeable doing of the movies still enjoy looking at them once in a while. Live in Catonsville

I'm about 3.5 hours away (southern part of Virginia's Eastern Shore) but might be interested. Keep me posted.

And to all who may have seen him. Johnny Fox passed away from cancer this past year. I met him bicycle riding in the area. He was a truely pleasant person and will be missed. To those unfamiliar, he was a sword swallower,magician, comic. Favorite of most. Bill

If you start your posts early enough may give me the incentive to try it again this year - my problem is that when I walk abut 200-250 feet my legs tire and become unstable. If I am carrying some weight the distance shortens.

I'm all in, Bill. And, not only do we live close together, and have the same first name, I'll be 70 in early September so we are close in age also!
