These are a few random shots from Ranthambore National Park, India.
Not any one is an award winner, but together they tell an interesting story.

Nikon D70, Nikkor 70-400, all hand-held

Well done! All are interesting photos, from an exotic place.

I really liked your last photo - the portrait of the elderly female. The colors are vibrant and her eyes have a very penetrating feeling. The one thing that bothered me was the slightly rectangular, almost square cropping. I preferred a portrait style cropping. I downloaded the image and cropped it as a portrait to verify my preference. I do like it better as a portrait.

Carol, I don’t disagree, but there were distracting things on both sides that needed to come out, and things of interest to me that I wanted to keep. So near square is what was left!

Many thanks for your comments.

I like the birds and the lady with the pretty scarves most. What animal left the footprint?

P. P., it is a Tiger print. I thought it was appropriate that it was inside a Jeep tire track ( remember Goodyear “Tiger Paws” ?)
