Lovely portrait. Great job.

Thanks, Jan. Had some fun painting the image, along with my usual 'improvements' (I use the term loosely, lol) and I'm pleased you enjoyed the result.

Thanks for your very kind comments and visit, they're greatly appreciated!

Beautiful work. Thanks for letting me see it.

Thank you, Flyerace. Madame P has been at her absolute best in these recent candid shots. Her expressions have been genuine, no acting or simulated emotion for the sake of the camera. Glad you have enjoyed seeing this lovely lady being herself and adoring her kitten.

Thanks for your very kind words and visit, they're always much appreciated!

Lovely image and fun tale.

Thanks, Karin. The stories are, of course, always inventions of a sick mind, lol. But the images of the lady and kitten are unposed and genuine expressions of her emotion. Glad you enjoy them.

Thanks for your kind words and visit, always much appreciated!

GoGo hasn’t lost his magical touch. Beautiful portrait. My, how the baby is growing!

Thanks, Carol. 'GoGo' is a talented fellow, particularly when drunk. I think his artistic efforts reflect that, and we'll be generous and say that his work is 'imaginative.' I will also say a lot of it (okay, most of it) gets thrown out, lol. But it's always fun to see what he comes up with. ; )

Glad you enjoyed this one. And yes, the kitten is getting bigger and bigger. Seventeen weeks old now, and tops five pounds (up from just over a single pound when we adopted him). Full of energy!

Thanks for your kind comments and visit, always much appreciated!

Beautiful image, Randy... and I like you texture and clouds overlay you added!

Thanks, Angela. Had some fun with this one (when do I not, lol) and the textured 'painted' effect worked nicely here. The unpainted image isn't bad, but seems flat and dull when compared to this version. Even Madame P, who usually prefers the straight shot, picked the painted one this time.

Thanks for your positive comments and visit, always most appreciated!

I like the textured look here, Randy! Also that there's a sense of your subjects floating in the clouds.

Thanks, Linda. As I mentioned to Angela, the original (processed) image appears flat and very dull compared to this version. The texturing worked, and the 'clouds' added a hint that the image might be metaphorical, and more about the emotion than the subjects (okay, that's total BS. I just liked the clouds and added them, no deep thoughts involved, lol).

Glad you liked the resulting image, and thanks as always for your comments and visit, I'm always most grateful!

Madame P, holding her new love, at last relented and told her pet frog (formerly world-famous and usually inebriated artist GoGo van Gogh-Gogh) that she would restore him to human form if he would swear to 1)stop making passes at her, and 2)do another portrait for her.

Tired of eating bugs for lunch, he quickly agreed. A quick *POOF* and two fingers of the Martian's Plutonium Joy Juice later, he squinted at the lady and kitten for a moment, then staggered off to begin work.

oh what an adorable shot, tp. it appears madame p and her little love are floating around in mr. sandman land!
eating bugs all the time has got to get old. lol. beautifully done portrait.

Thanks, James. GoGo does a good job when he likes the subject matter, lol. He caught a quiet emotional moment between kitten and Dark Lady. While I generally have to work at getting emotion from Madame P when I have the camera on her, GoGo obviously has no such problem. Of course, he's a master, while I'm a rank amateur...

Thank you, Donna. Good subject matter, lol. This one worked far better being 'painted' than did the original (and processed) shot. Added a little ethereal depth to the image, whereas the unpainted image was flat and uninspiring. Doesn't always work, but never hurts to try!

Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks, Sylvia. Always have fun doing up these shots. Never quite know how they'll turn out, but as you say, start with a pretty lady and cute kitten and you can't go far wrong, lol!

Glad you enjoyed the image, and thanks as always for your very kind words and visit. I'm grateful!

Thanks, Bob. I try to stay away from that stuff myself. Can't see to mop the floors after a glass or two. I can't, in fact, even see the floor, being face down on it! Seems to work the other way for GoGo, however (I'm not sure he can see, either--I suspect he uses the Force to do his painting...).

Thanks for the laugh and your visit, always very much appreciated!
