Does anyone have experience with this camera? Some non-biased reviews say it is the best bridge camera ever made! Just ordered one and very excited! Selling my Sony 70-400 G SSI to pay for it.

I think you'll love it. I've had mine for about 1 month. Menus are a bit of a pain, but the image quality is excellent. Here's one from today - I'm in Prague. Bought the Sony for this trip. Please use download.

Thanks Mark! I’m very excited. How would you compare this to your Cannon equipment?

I have a Sony a77ii and the Sony 70-400 G. It seems the new RX10 will take better pictures and has a much longer reach! Can this be?

They are different. So far, the Sony performs well. I will not give up my two DSLR's.
Mark.

Beautiful shot Mark! Great clarity. Please, when the opportunity arises, take some telephoto shots all the way (600mm for that lens if I remember correctly) and lets see how it does those as well. This is definitely a great camera! Thanks for the shots and for sharing. Tom

I've had one for 9 months and believe it is the best and most versatile fixed lens camera ever made. Great lens throughout the 600mm (35mm equiv.) zoom range and a great Sony sensor gives excellent results even with the smaller sensor. Get this book to help you learn how to best use it and understand its capabilities.

My wife has this camera for her travel camera. She found out that there is one problem with the Camera and it deals with the battery. You are limited to around 350 or 400 photos or 1 hour of video than it dies. Small battery. She purchased two extra batteries which she takes with her when we travel as backup. No problem with dead batteries anymore.

I have both the III and IV. Both outperform my FF Sony A7S and A7R II at equivalent focal lengths; probably because I didn't spend a fortune for the very best FF lenses.

The only downside I've seen is low light performance, although I've shot some acceptable pix at ISO 6400.

My grab 'n go camera is definitely the RX10 IV. The RX10 III is modified to full spectrum for IR and astrophotography.

You will be very happy with this camera. Read Chris Edwards post today where he posts his results from an African safari with the RX10 IV.
