Funny how it teases about doesn’t mention spot on d600 or recall on D750

Hey I’m happy with D750 just advertising is funny

They can tease all they want. As one friend of mine puts it, "It don't make no nevermind to me".

I'll stick with what I've got. I'd rather put my money into some mods on which I'm currently working.

One is reminded of Nissan's 1989 'Rocks and Streams' no-cars-visible ads for the introduction of their new Infiniti brand. The first Infinitis were, more or less, rebadged Nissan Cedrics.

For the record, I’m quite happy with my D5100 and my recently acquired D750. So mirrorless is not in my future at any point. Just thought I’d share as I’ve been receiving emails from Nikon leading up to their “Big Coming Out Announcement”. Though various leaks and rumors do peak my couriousity.

The Nikon mirrorless camera is a late arrival. This new camera was supposed to be introduced 3 years ago. While Olympus-Panasonic, Fuji and Sony have been working producing new cameras and lenses for the mirrorless system Canon and Nikon, from what I know, did not pay attention. The result to me is that the new camera is arriving kind of late.
I am using Olympus cameras with Olympus and Panasonic lenses and I will stay where I am.

Well maybe if I hit big in the lottery, along with a bunch of new toys, among them a Ford Mustang, 35' sport fisherman and a vacation home somewhere quiet and remote.

Yeah, same here. One big lottery win and I'll be paying a visit to Hershel and the friendly bunch at B and H. Then complete a few projects I have hanging around here.

Did I mistakenly see a mimic of the Fuji on the top of the Nikon? One of the reasons I picked the X-T2 was the manual controls on top ;) Must have struck a chord....

rgrenaderphoto, I'd be purchasing a Hasselblad H6D-400c, 50mm, 80mm, 150mm, and 250mm lenses for it. Also, a Mac Pro maxed out and an Eizo monitor, maybe dual monitors. A massive data server with a lot of drives. And build an addition to the house for a formal darkroom. However, that would be after the car rebuilds.

A couple of vehicles I was in the process of refurbishing/customizing when I was laid off a few years back and had to use the car funds to survive until I found another job. Unfortunately, anything after that didn't pay near as much as I was making. So, things were put on hold. That's the plan. Nothing exquisite just a few projects.
