They just arrested a guy for arson in the "Holy Fire" (started in "Holy Jim Canyon", a branch of "Trabuco Canyon") in the mountains south of C****a, CA. And he made threats on line before he did it. Two fire fighters were downed by heat and smoke and 12 cabins/mountain homes have been burned so far. The fire is spreading towards the built up areas along I-15 between Lake Elsinore and C****a.

So we need "Match and Assault Cigarette Lighter Control"! We need it now!! In this day and age no one needs to be able to light a fire most heaters, water heaters and cook stoves have electric igniters and as for campers, they can drive out and eat at the local fast food places or munch on granola bars.

I didn't post it there because I long since unsubscribed from the Attic when it got to where you couldn't have a debate/discussion about anything without the extremists of one or both sides jumping in, unless the potty mouths got there first. Yes I am feeling a bit weird - so I came up with this to release the pressure. Just took my special needs son to see "Teen Titans Go To The Movies" (he picked it) and was only able to avoid 1/2 of it by sleeping. My mind may be a long time recovering from the parts I watched.

Well, this is probably on London’s mayor’s to-do list. Right now, he is dealing with a knifing murder rate that rivals New York’s gun murder rate. Picture that he’s proposing having corner kiosks that round off all pointed kitchen knives and controlling who can buy kitchen knives. When knives are outlawed, only outlaws will have knives.
The fires, on a serious note, are a terrible tragedy on so many levels.

Actually, what we need is some serious action on trying to help the mentally ill. Maybe helping these people will lower the number of school shootings, fires, and other attempts to k**l a large number of people. I would guess that 99% of the peeps are mentally ill.

At last report the most serious fire was caused by a flat tire - so let's also ban all motorized vehicles while we're at it. Maybe we should just ban people and be done with it.

As to the serious fact of the fire. The accused arsonist appears in court today.
And someone who lives south of me several miles closer to the fire posted a picture of the new "California State Bird" in their neighborhood.
