This photo was a challenge. My daughter wanted sunflower photos, and I thought that a ladybug would add a little to it. So, I bought some sunflowers, and purchase about 1500 ladybugs at our local nursery. They were refrigerated (which I later learned was a great idea), and I thought I'd give it a shot. After about an hour, out of the refrigerator, I opened the container a slight bit, and about 200 ladybugs poured out. I had a hard time closing the lid, as I didn't want to squash them. Now I have a couple hundred of ladybugs running all over, and I'm throwing them by the hand full on the sunflowers. I had my camera ready for one, or more, to get into a favorable position to shoot. Needless to say, I had a few shots, but very few worth keeping. This one I liked because it looks 3D on the computer, but I think it's a little too orange. The remainder of the ladybugs went to my neighbor who has a wonderful garden. He was delighted to get them.
Stunning colors and composition that enhances them. Nice work.

Lovely photo! The sunflower is gorgeous and my favorite flower, the ladybug adds interest to your composition.
Well, after all that, this is a beautiful image, Lauren!
