This was taken at the LA Arboretum in 2010. Watched the flock for about an hour. Think is a bush tit. Taken with a Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD. Long telephoto point & shoot at 75 mm. Enlarged several times.
Nice shot, I think it's a bush tit also.
What the heck is an "LBB"?

Okayyyyyy....
(I was thinking Lunch Bucket Bingo.)
I saw LBB on a post in UHH once. There are a lot of them out there, some hard to tell apart.

LBB
may be a common mnemonic for bird people as BB, RWBB, GWH, and such.
However, the rest of us have absolutely no idea what those mnemonics mean.
I'm sure if we didn't try too hard we could come up with a bunch of NNMs (Neat New Mnemonics), like LMLC (Lost My Lens Cap)...
Is that sort of like a DYF? He's very cute. So fluffy.
Thank you, photophile, danniepolley, AzPicLady, rlaugh & longshadow for the interest. It was fun to watch them flickering around the bushes. They tended to land upside down a lot to get to the food.
