I walked to the fringes of Steamtown, in Scranton. Tucked behind a beat up wooden passenger car was this little girl.
Looks like it was cannibalized in the past and left to rust away.

I reckon if she was a Canadian shay she might be in better shape. Yes that is snark. Seems to me that Steamtown National Park favors CN equipment.

An engine looking for a top and a coach looking for a bottom (trucks). And if available, too expensive to acquire.

I remember the shay when we were at Steamtown, years back.
