Thanks Jim, glad you liked... we certainly can't complain about the weather on LI, still hazy, hot and humid and a very severe T-storm last night and they're are saying tonight as well, but by no means like the other parts of the country.... and my flowers and monarchs are all thriving!!
Maybe I'll put on the wide angle or fisheye and take a picture to share....

Can't wait till I see the picture, fisheye sound interesting.

The fisheye was a bust.... so I used my 10-18mm. Now you can clearly see, all my flowers and plants are in pots.... easy to move, weed and always room for more!!
So this is my little corner of the world on LI.... we also have a 28' above ground pool on the opposite side, which I would rather do away with, but David wants it for the grandkids.

So if you're ever in the area, stop in!!

Wonderful images, Angela. You really work hard to help your insect friends.

Thanks Ken, glad you liked.... we all have to do our part to help them, it's the humans that are killing them all, with pesticides and everything else.... they need our help and I am willing to help them in any way I can. They all so make our yards alive with their buzz, flutter and song!!

Wow what a great back yard, looks like you always have something to shoot. Most of my flower shots have been something I bought at the grocery store and keep about 2 weeks to shoot on our dinning room table then plant but they die with our terrible weather. My back yard is almost all shade but still so hot.
Thanks for sharing.

It is our little oasis from the day.... we love to sit, pet and feed the koi and Buster is always running about under foot!!
I don't do well with heat and humidity, so LI weather is perfect for me and I don't mind the snow.... enjoying all four seasons is a good thing!
Glad you liked!
