A spy camera disguised as a camera..
That is clever. And what ever happened to those great leather cases for our cameras?

I suppose the buttons and screen on the back and the card slot on the side eliminated the usability of the leather case...
Interesting. I wonder if it was ever really used for anything important. What do modern spy cameras look like? Coat buttons?
The closest I've ever seen to a "spy camera" is the Minolta 16 that I purchased while in the military. It came with a leather case and even a flash attachment which used the little flash bulbs, I think they were B-1s. I still have it and it still works, I just can't find film cartridges for it. Besides, no one near where I live processes the film.
Great what they think of....
Spy camera made to look like a camera, if that don't beat all.
PhotogHobbyist: I found a Minolta 16 Automatic two weeks ago at a local auction. It works with no problems. I like you looking for film cartridges for it. Also to processes the film.
JD750: Remember the film for a Minolta 16 Automatic is 16mm which The Darkroom does not sell or developing. I found yesterday Blue Moon in Oregon which does sell 16mm film and developed it. Just at is time I have too many medical bills or I would have getting the film.

Mine is not an automatic but would probably take the same film. I do have two empty cartridges which can be reloaded in a darkroom, another space I do not have.
I am not sure where I obtained it, but I have a Minolta 16 color print film cartridge and "coffin", in the box, with exposed film, ASA 100 (DIN 21), with the "develop before" date of May '87. I think the film is rather out of date and the images may not be salvageable. It would be interesting to see if there were any recoverable images on it. I may give Blue Moon a try and see what I get. Btw, the price tag is still on the box, $3.19.

I apologize I am ignormas about the Minolta 16. I was thinking agout 35mm film.
Thank you for posting that information which I am sure other Minolta 16 users will appreciate.
