I just found out that I will be less busy in the coming weeks/months. I shoot for a church(well a couple churches).

What I do I do free of charge. Any money made goes to the church and I do not ask to be reimbursed for my printing charges.

I won't go into detail, but I just lost half of my clients(which means a 90% reduction in effort on my part.) I guess I'll be shooting the family more often--I may try more landscape photography as that was the reason I bought the camera in the first place.

Haven't shot much lately, since the Unima Choir, but here are a few.

Actually from a couple months ago.

Thank you, but believe me; anyone could have gotten these.

If I do anything differently it's that I try to pre-visualize my lighting. It doesn't always turn out the way I plan, but I can usually get predictable(and boring) results.

With all due respect sir, it seems to me that you have somewhat lost touch with the value of your self worth. Your pictures are always top notch, anything but boring. You have and do bring a lot to the table.

Now you have time for new and better clients, I've been there and this is a good thing...remember, that glass is half full...

btw: I'm interested about the Lime leaves...used for?

Lime leaves..... Well these are not your regular lime, for starters. It's the Kaffir lime--so tart as to be considered inedible by most(I love them myself). The leaves are used in Thai cooking as well as in Indonesian cooking.

Right, I'm pretty sure I have seen these Lime trees at the Asian Markets we go to. I'll have to ask the wife if Filipinos use them. She uses every other kind of leaf it seems. I have to guard my pepper patch or she will strip it bare of leaves.

We lived in Oceanside, CA right after we got married. Not too many places to get Indonesian food down there in 1999. In fact there was one in La Jolla, and it was over-priced(and not good).

We learned to love Filipino food as it was plentiful. It's been years since I had some good pork adobo like they would serve at Lita's Fish Market or Mission Asian Market.

Well if you're ever through southeast Kansas stop by, my wife will fix you some good adobo. She loves to cook and the more the better. The last little Asian get together she had here at the house, there was 127 people showed up that day...

Like you, my work is free of charge right now. I ran out of family and friends to practice on so I made a flyer of my work that offered a free session and cd of edited shots and gave it to a local agency that provides mental health care for the uninsured. I've gotten some good response from it and that relates to more practice for me. It's a win win as these are folks that cannot otherwise afford family photos.

I love the de-saturated image.
