This is from a recent Burlesque shoot. The image is modified in Photoshop and for those interested I have included the original. We were told that the shoot would use the stage lighting - but I found that quite difficult as it was not controlled as to how and when it fell upon the subject. Hence the need for a composite. Other mods include a quick diet and several visits to an Aaron Nace retouching tut! Your critique is welcomed.
That's so neat how changing the position of her eyes takes her expression from totally bored to haughty! And I guess "hottie" too, since she slimmed down, but I don't want to open
that discussion here
Love the spotlight, the pose, the colors.

Colour was one of the problems Linda. The light changed colour regularly, and also direction. She certainly got tired and quite fed-up when most were shooting the girl standing next to her, but I think she was the most experienced of the four posing and she did rally. Thanks for commenting.
Is Aspect Ration the new slimming salon?
My older Panasonic TZ3? when photographing the moon would tell me hand held low light multi shots will be combined.
The composite you mentioned, did you use burst?
Linda knows all good-boys are bad-boys. I claim that since I was the least corruptible; the Baptist Rightwing Morals group appointed me to view and report back the disgusting details of any performance like you photographed. The saintly group I was in during High School went to the Michigan State Fair,[ for anatomy class of course] we went to the Burlesque Show. Being into science, I was and still am perplexed.... how did that woman get one tussle to spin clockwise and the other counter clockwise.

Not aspect ratio dp, the diet was courtesy of the liquify filter.
Due to the lighting problems I didn’t use burst but bracketed the shot, which gave me some choice. With care, and modern pp of course, burst would possibly have been more useful, particularly when compositing.
As for the simultaneous counter-rotation, it’s a trick of the trade (I’m told).
A lot of work goes into making what's hard look easy and good. Congratulations!
