I don't care what this dumbass says, it's unAmerican to kneel during our anthem or to burn US f**gs. Nobody says it's not right to protest, it's just not a very patriotic way to do it.

Tex,

For the few of you out there who have an actual job I suggest you go to your work during work hours, with signs protesting your company’s products and methods, on a day when major customers are visiting.

See how it goes.

These ppl are kneeling to express the inability of our government (police) to treat POC the same as they treat white ppl. Because we have a r****t president, and he's found among the Republicans other r****ts, that is no reason. I don't know you, I remember laughing (with others, not AT you, but with you, at the comments you made about your photos) and don't know whether you have black friends. What if you did, what if he was k**led for no reason but that a cop shot him? How would you feel about the loss of your friend? This may not be the best way but at least someone pays attention to it. I'm sure the athletic players would like it not to be necessary.

I have black friends who are outraged by this form and time of protest. They freely admit that when an officer gives a command that you follow it. They also admit that black people commit more crimes than any other minority.
Damn I wish some of them read the crap posted on this forum...

It's legal to do both, but for you to equate them in unconscionable.

The f**g should never be carried flat or horizontally, but always aloft and free. The f**g should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free.
4 U.S. Code § 8 - Respect for f**g | US Law | LII / Legal Information ...

Do you show outrage when it is worn as clothing? How about when it is on a seat cushion or a bed spread or sheets?

If this is so, then please explain to me why these white people (or person/driver) was shot by police? He's white! Anyone that doesn't comply with the police is subject to being shot. I was taught at a very young age to respect my elders, the police, my parents and my teachers. So many kids that have grown to be adults never learned these lessons I'm guessing. They should watch and learn.

Please look at this video and tell me what you think. It's only the black incidents that usually get reported because the f**e news wants to stir the pot for ratings.

I can't see your link because my computer is running slow. I'm sure there are white ppl who are shot by police. I think our police need an overhaul rooting out the bad ones. I don't think there are many but why do we have to wait until ppl are k**led needlessly? I was taught the same things, we can't go back in time. If the police quit their damn k*****g, they'd be looked up to. Not before.

Police don't run around looking for people to k**l. That's how you make is sound and that's completely wrong. They are there to protect and serve.

Just recently a cop shot the manager of a Trader Joe's store by accident. A bad guy with a gun ran into the store after police used a spike strip on the carjacked car he stole by gunpoint and it came to a stop in front of that particular store and he ran in shooting back at the cops so the cops shot back. One shot (probably more than one) missed hitting the store manager. It was a shame that she died in the crossfire but s**t happens. I'm sure the family will be compensated for the accidental shooting. I know that won't bring her back. Many people that shopped at that store knew her and loved her.

The police didn't start out their day telling each other that they are going to k**l someone. Nope, it didn't happen that way. It so happens that this person was wanted for shooting at someone else and the police knew he was armed and EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. Police can't simply let him go because some innocent person might get k**led. If they did let him go, who knows how many other innocent people he might k**l. Yes, I think police are always in need of more and more training. Times change, circumstances change, and so does the training they receive need to change. Yes, there's always going to be a few bad apples too. They are human too. People change. Police are people too. They put their lives on the line every day for you and me.

I guarantee the cop that shot the manager of that Trader Joe's is going to have nightmares for the rest of his life and he might not even be able to continue on as a cop even if he wants to because of how screwed up this will make him. I was in the US Coast Guard and I went on a rescue mission on New Year's morning (2am) for a gunshot victim. That's all our crew knew at the time. We had a medic join our crew on this mission since we knew there were injuries. When we got there we discovered a 16 year old boy had tried to commit suicide by putting a 30-30 rifle under his chin. He lived but now he doesn't have a face. I will never be able to get that out of my mind and it's been 44 years.

I'm sure you are a reasonable person and know that it's not always the cops fault that people get shot at or k**led by them. They have a job to do and sometimes it gets violent. They not only have to protect joe public, but they need to defend themselves from harm. They are using their stun guns more and more, but I've seen many videos where the stun gun has no effect on the bad guy. I don't know how they do it. But sometimes, a stun guy winds up k*****g the person too.

If it turned out to be an accident, I understand, but there's just too many "accidents" with POC. Plus, it doesn't help that we have a r****t president who stirs ppl up coddling their h**e. I don't believe, by any stretch of the imagination, that most cops intend to k**l ppl. R****m runs deep in our country and in every part of society, I'm sure the police have their fair share. These ppl just toss ppl away because of the color of their skin, you and I won the luck of the draw. I feel strongly that the ball players should be allowed to take a knee, it brings the problem to the forefront, while stooges like the president don't even understand why they do it.
