I made this up yesterday from 5 images from the top of Monitor Pass Hwy 89 looking East into the Walker Valley on Hwy 395.
Canon XT Rebel , 18-55 @30mm, f18, 1/500, ISO 400 - tripod
One of my favorite views of all my travels- surpassed by Monument Valley which is #1.
I took this last fall coming back from Bodie.

The bottom crop destroys the shot as does the wrong color balance.
Need to a sensor cleaning to clean up spots across picture. I agree that the color balance is off.
Thanks for your input- I have been fearful doing any sensor cleaning other than the "auto clean" in the camera -as for the color balance I found it to be off some myself but trying to correct it I just made it worse so I posted my better choice. Again I don't claim to be a pro and all C&C is welcome and appreciated.

Thanks for your input- I'll re-shoot this in Oct. when I go back to this area of the Eastern Sierra & #395 to fill in areas I missed last fall - a trip to Buckeye Hot Springs - the color balance is a challenge too.
