With grandkids to keep happy and occupied, we took a short round trip (North Conway to Bartlett, NH) on the Conway Scenic. I've attached a few moments.

At Bartlett, a man and his young daughter watch as the 216 runs around the train.

Back at North Conway, a can of Coke interrupts the period feel created by the 1898 Gertrude Emma.

On his way to the head end, the engineer jokingly offers some cover to a trainman during a downpour.

A marker lamp on the Gertrude Emma, like the train order semaphores in the background, evokes another time.

Good set, and some great memories.
