Have any Hoggers dealt with Southeastern Camera in Raleigh, NC. My brother wants to make some purchases there. I told him I would ask the Hoggers about this store.
Thanks in Advance

Never been there, but it is good to support your local brick and mortar stores before they all go away. A google search of the store may get you some local reviews of the place.
Several years ago, I bought a used setup from them, Canon 7D and a 100-400L, no issues (all still ticking),
terrific knowledge base in the store, nice folks and to the earlier point, local. I visit whenever I am in the Raleigh area...
I’ve bought one camera from them and sold two cameras to them. They were fair and pleasant to deal with.

If they respond to the marketplace's wants and needs effectively they won't go away and they won't need support just because they might go out of business.
B&H started as a storefront in 73 or so.
There's no reason for a business to go under if they are making the right decisions.
My sister has bought and rented from them without problems. She likes the folks.
I have and they are a good reputable store. I have purchased and sold camera equipment there for around 6 years.

Sounds like that you know not only very little about business, but you are illogical. How B&H is doing in one of the biggest and most visited cities in the world has nothing to do with a dinky camera store in North Carolina. Jesus.

I have been buying from Southeastern for many years, and it’s a first rate store, with a great selection, staffed by a team of professional photographers. It’s the local source of choice for pros in the Raleigh area. I’ve personally purchased both new and used equipment from then as well as trading in used equipment and alway been treated more than fairly. My highest recommendation.

You call this a "dinky camera store in North Carolina". Just how do you know that?

Dinky camera store in NC (that you’ve apparently never been in)? Not only is your response unnecessarily rude to the OP, but you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. This store has a huge collection of both new and used gear from all the major manufacturers, but most importantly, the salesperson you deal with is very likely to be better informed (because he’s likely also a professional photographer). I have nothing against B&H (which is a great store), but when I need something, whether it’s an L series lens or a $4 strobe stand adapter, I patronize my local business, and I’ve never needed anything they didn’t have in stock.

Compared to B&H both size wise and business wise.

First of all, I wasn’t responding to the OP, but rpavich, who made a silly claim. A small store and I’m sorry, but every other store is a dinky one compared to B&H. Have you been to B&H or Adorama? Do you have any idea what size these mega stores are?
Calling it dinky I was trying to make a point. A small store can not compete with a giant one. If you don’t have the traffic to make enough money to be profitable, no matter how nice you are, you may not have enough money to pay rent.

Yes, I have been to B&H.
This “small store” competed very nicely with B&H when I decided to trade up my 7D for a 5D3. And again when I bought a lightly used 135 f2L. Both were actually priced better than B&H, and the trade-in for the 7D was a hundred dollars higher. Not long after, I purchased an immaculate lens for my RB67 for $70, AND the owner took the time to find me the correct/original MS lens caps. Beat of all, I was dealing face-to-face with friends.
