Also seen was another attachment to allow bracket with mounted camera to stand upright on flat surface ???

I want to be able to rotate camera from horizontal to vertical while keeping same relationship between lens and flash without breaking the bank ($$$).

I use a Stroboframe/RLc which allows me to keep the camera on the same plane and turn the camera from horizontal to vertical. I've used it for product, food, portrature and wedding photography for the past 25 years. I highly recommend you look at the full line of Strobframe products.
