I'm about to get in trouble.

With the push to get everything lifted, sucked or coolsculpting if not even to just look like Twiggy to start with I come to just look at your lovely wife, even though mine's better LOL, and I didn't even notice the hotel room.

Well I sure did. Motels and sex have always gone together, like peanut butter and jelly. Whether it is a sneaky extramarital fling or to spice up your life with your spouse, a roll in a rented room can't be beat, and if it is a little seedy, it is a lot spicier. We have more sex because of motels, and vice-versa

What do your comments and this stolen image have to do with my thread?

Just commenting on how much I liked the hotel setting. I will delete the picture if you prefer.

Yes, please remove it.

In my mind the only reasons to post a photo on this site you have not personally taken are to show a product (stock photo) or to put up an edit of another poster's image AFTER being invited to do so.

Hotel room? What hotel room?!

Lovely woman, our compliments to the lucky couple!

A voluptous woman provides beauty no matter the age. She should never think that the photos are less than desireable. You are a lucky guy!

Out of respect for your preference, I deleted what I thought was a great image of the roadside motel mystique. IMHO, there is nothing wrong with placing your own photo or that taken by someone else as long as you are adding to the discussion and not hijacking the thread. Nonetheless it is your rules, your backyard on your threads and respect your choice. Were it my thread, I would have welcomed that shot. BTW, one of my own topics is called. "putting one's own photos on someone else's thread; Nay or OK"

I read your thread "putting one's own photos on someone else's thread; Nay or OK" and the respondents seemed to be evenly split. The point you've glossed over here is that the photo you posted was not your work and therefore not yours to post. In MY Humble Opinion, someone who does not understand and/or honor copyright should not be posting at all. I right-clicked on your image and searched google for it and got dozens of hits. What's the difference in posting that particular photo vs posting a photo taken from playboy? Even if I had asked for other photographers to post images shot in hotel rooms, I wouldn't expect anyone to search the web and contribute something they found there.

I missed seeing the now-deleted photo, but I am not sure I agree with your statement "... not your work and therefore not yours to post." There are plenty of open-source photos that might add to a discussion to drive home a point, so ask long as the OP does not object I see no reason why they shouldn't be added.

I guess our thoughts differ on this. If someone asked for example photos I would stay on the sidelines if I didn't have a photo to contribute that I had personally taken.

In this case, he didn't ask and the image, while tame, was added to punctuate his point that motels and sex go together. In my mind it had little to do with my thread.

Here are a few shots taken last year during a hotel stay.

Whenever we travel we try to squeeze a set or two of boudoir images in. Of course, there are hurdles. One being lighting. If we travel by air the equipment on hand will be minimal. You also don't have much control over the color scheme and furnishings of a hotel room and sadly a lot of the corporate chains seem to be rolling out decorating schemes to their entire chain at once. If you tend to stay in the same chains you may travel completely across the country and walk into a room with exactly the same look.

A very lovely model (woman). You are a lucky man to have such a beautiful model/wife.

Besides having a great model you were working with minimal equipment and you turned it into a great photo shoot.
