Wien Walk in Central Park for talking pictures of Sunset and Moon rise

Hello,

I am trying to plan a photo walk in New York City to take pictures of the Sunset and full moon on August 26th.

After a few internet searches I am considering the Wien Walk in Central Park.

It would be an easy commute for me and it does not appear to have any large events going on in that area of the park at that time.

I haven't been in Central Park in years.

Would anyone know if this would be a good place for what I am planning?

I would be having this around 7:00PM to 8:30PM.

Thank you

Bring a bodyguard. No, seriously, at that hour there should be 100s of people in the park. Just don't go above 86 St. and avoid the North Woods and other areas north of 96 st to 110th.

I never, any more, go to central park (in the evening) without at least two other people with me.
