Decided I would go back and play with some of my old pictures that I bracketed before but never new anything about HDR at the time. I am really loving this HDR stuff. It is fun.The second one is a little blown out in the sky area

You are right on #2 I do like #1 only nit is the slight tilt to the left.
Agree #1 is better. But if you look at the highlights in #1 you will find a lot of them are blown as well though not with the same impact as #2. Also a lot of the shadow detail has not been brought out, so, for example you don't get clarity in the pictures on the grill. I don't know what the original shots were like, if they were blown then not much you can do. But if not then pulling back the white point may recover some of the details. You then have to bring up the details on the darker areas. I think its worth having another go at because I think it has the potential to be a nice pic.
