I just reread this - basically, smokers are required to lurk in back alleys like drug addicts and other less than desireable people who are shunned by society. "All animals are equal but some are more equal than others" - a loose quotation from "Animal Farm".
Oh, and BTW - you are not in need of a recharge as long as your shots promote discussion which they usually seem to do.

Actually, Sue, I think in these times smokers are part of the "less than desirable people." Personally, I'm an ex-smoker, and believe in the right of people to choose their own way to live.
