[quote=DirtFarmer]I agree that the pros should handle the pro jobs.
I made digital copies of a couple of the dull shots of a bunch of people standing in rows and distributed them to family along with a genealogical collection. Probably 10% of those distributed files are still around.

This part of i made copies is why I kept shooting for the pro studios in film days. Copies of any photographers work is copies of copy righted material and should never be done. I turn down in the course of a year just a few requests by friends. When I tell them I won't copy another pro's work they feel insulted and say "it was only because you are so good". I again tell them no. Real photographers all over the nation have been hurt not just financially by the high numbers of copied work but by the emotional impact it says to them. Such as "you aren't as good as we thought you were but yet we copied the work rather than pay you for it." The music industry artists protects its fellow artists better than other photographers protect other photographers. Just because you can does not mean you should copy. This is one thing a photographer can fear when he/she posts a website is the fact that the photos might be copied. Sometimes by people that make really good money from the copies or just the browser who thought it looked nice and added it to his/her collection. A right click on a mouse these days is all it takes sometimes. I asked Godday if the right click could download from a site with them and the person said they did not know nor did they even know about that issue. My site is not with Godaddy for that reason. Currently building a new site.
Once color copies evolved we pro photographers were not as often requested for more print order.

I am photographing my first wedding on August 18th 2018. Please offer any tips or ideas. Any help possible. I am getting very nervous. I have a Nikon D7500.

1. Are you getting Paid?
2. What Len(s) will you be using?
3. Will you be using a "Off-Camera" Speedlight Flash? ( If "On-Camera" Flash, DO make sure you "Bounce" your light for a softer effect.) Do NOT shoot Flash direct in anyone's face.
4. Will you have an assistant?
5 make sure you have extra batteries and Memory Cards.
6. Take a Prime Lens, 50mm1.8, 35mm1.8, 24mm1.8 ( Portrait & Groups.)
7. Take a Medium Zoom, like a 24-70mm if available,$$$
8, Try and relax.
