Yes, I know, a dancer with no feet!
The figure is part of a large sculpture on display at the Eden Project in Cornwall. Background is a local sand cliff. The fire is borrowed from the web.
Your opinions valued, as always.
If my response to any comment left seems tardy it is because my current communications from UHH are somewhat wanting - trying to sort that one.

The elements seem to fit with each other. If I'm nit-picking, I think the blend of lighting could be more convincing. I think the light on the dancer should have more of a glow from the fire. That is, I should say, being very critical. There is a glow and you did make an attempt to match the lighting.

It seemed to me there might be more impact with the dancer closer to the fire, so I chopped some out of your middle If this idea is of interest, I know you'd re-position the neat textures & design of the background and maybe lower the flame a bit. Fascinating sculpture for you to work with, Dave, and I sure love that background.

Yep, could move her in a bit but just got to watch that background. I photographed it for use as a texture but it’s so yummy I decided it could stand in its own right. I’ll take some more along that stretch of beach when I’m there again. By the way, I’m not receiving anything from UHH at the moment, no lists, replies, pm’s - all have ground to a halt. Checked my mail settings and all seems good. I’ll contact admin but meanwhile I hope everyone will bear with me.
