Yes, it's a daylily. That's why they call it that. It closes at night. And blooms for only a day. (But then new ones open up the next day.) So don't put it in any floral arrangements that you want to have looking good at night. They'll close in the vases as well. But shoot away during the day. There are hundreds of varieties--all different colors. -- Jackie
