That definitely needs to go on our bucket list - the shot with the porch with its forever view is my favorite.

Hey, hey, it's time again for Free Sunday. You got leftovers from last weeks challenges or some special project you been working on, please post it here. There is little you can't share with us here and it won't cost a thing.
We left the house for ten days recently and returned to a great surprise. Our new neighbor some 4 years ago gave me a small branch about 8 inches long from his Plumaria tree. He said just stick it in the ground....it'll grow. It did and has continued to grow, finally sprouting 3 branched this year, and to our surprise......

Larry thanks for hosting Free Sunday. A very niced start and story
I met an old friend up in my old hometown, out by
the reservoir he walks daily. We visited and caught-up
but the wildlife never showed.
Planned shoots always chase critters off, (for me, anyways).
But I saw this flower. I wanted a macro style shot, so I got
up on it. He said, your too close! back up!
Well he was right. But I got my shot.
The 2nd one, on my way out of the park, I saw a cormorant on a log.
I took 6 or 8 shots of it before I realized it wasn't a cormorant.
I was embarrassed at the moment.
But the picture turned out, after all...
Happy Sunday,
and Thanks Hammer, for hosting this
I thought of these this morning looking at the "Abandoned" challenge.
After digging them out, I am not so certain they're abandoned.

We took a drive to Ogonquit, ME. over the weekend. Just south of the town is a place called Perkins Cove, which looks out over the ocean. Hope you like the images.
