Side by side camera mount

Does anybody know of a sturdy mounting bar that would allow me to mount two large DSLRs side by side? It would be fairly simple -- a bar I could mount to a tripod that would have two camera mounts built-in, one on each side. Preferably, the mounts would be somewhat adjustable for width, so I could move the cameras further apart or closer together. This would be used for both 3D photography and camera comparisons, and I might think of some other uses.
I've searched using every search term I could think of, even sent a question to the B&H staff (no response.) I found some things for GoPro cameras, but they wouldn't work for large cameras.
Any help or suggestions appreciated.

You could adapt a flash flat bar to mount 2 cameras along the slots. The middle hole threads onto your stand via a QR plate.

I don't have any ideas for the bar.
I look forward to the 3D images!
We had a guy that produced them several years ago. He was good.
Then he went poof........
Haven't heard from him since.

Boy, I'd go with #1 listed above. Skip the plastic parts of #2 & put a couple of Arca Swiss mounts on #1 and hope you have a really sturdy tripod.

A double Arca rail should be sufficiently stiff. You didn't specify what separation you need, but a 300mm example here:

You can screw the cameras onto the rail, or get a pair of double Arca clamps for easy mount and positioning.

Super duty dual camera bar, will actually let you attach 2 more heads to the bar ends to mount a total of 4 cameras. I used to use one years ago for air shows.

It’s pretty easy to custom make one from a length of aluminum flat bar.

I use Manfroto's, however the bar is only part of the problem - you also need another tripod head. I bought 2 of the same, the inexpensive models as I used them in a static position rather than actively.

That looks great, although a bit pricey. You'd need a very good tripod to support that weight. If I had to mount two cameras together, I'd want the strongest setup I could find.
